A room may look good on paper, but true functionality comes down to the details: comfortable walkways, proper furniture scale, door swings, clearances, and how your family actually moves through the space each day.

That is why we look beyond simply making everything fit. We thoughtfully plan how each space will feel, flow, and support real life before construction begins or furniture is ordered.

Because good design should not only look beautiful. It should make living at home feel easier.

Sometimes it starts with a photo you saved, a piece of art you love, a color you keep thinking about, or a feeling you want the room to have.

That is enough for us to start.

We help take all of those pieces, look at how you live, how your home works, and what you want the space to feel like, then bring it together in a way that feels like you.

This is part of the fun of what we do. There are selections, measurements, finish decisions, and all the real behind-the-scenes work, but there are also plenty of moments like this mixed in along the way.

Today we’d like to take a minute to recognize Daniel Baker, our Co-Owner/Managing Director.

Daniel spent part of the day representing Always Home Custom Designs at the Wi******er Main Street Block Party, and moments like this are a good reminder of how much we value being part of the communities we serve.

We are grateful for the opportunity to connect with people, share more about Always Home, and continue building relationships beyond the walls of our studio.

Many of you may know Daniel from his work with The Journey Home , Randolph County United, the YMCA of Muncie, and other organizations throughout the area. What some may not know is that he has also been part of Always Home from the very beginning.

For the last six years, Daniel has helped support and grow the business behind the scenes while Katie has continued leading the design vision and client experience. From leadership and strategy to the many moving pieces that help keep a business growing, his role has been an important part of where Always Home is today.

After years of working toward this next step, and after Daniel has navigated health complications along the way, we are incredibly grateful to have him stepping into Always Home full time.

Katie will continue leading the design side of the business, while Daniel helps strengthen operations, build relationships, and support the continued growth of Always Home.

We are thankful for Daniel, thankful for this community, and excited for what is ahead.

Our hearts are full after this morning.

Thank you to everyone who came by to celebrate with us, walk through the studio, share kind words, and spend part of your day with our family and team.

This space has been years in the making, and seeing it filled with clients, friends, family, local businesses, and community members made today feel incredibly special.

For us, this studio is more than a place to work. It is a place to welcome clients in, sit together, talk through ideas, look at selections, review renderings, and make the design process feel personal, clear, and exciting from the very beginning.

Always Home has grown because of the people who have trusted us, encouraged us, shared our name, and allowed us to be part of spaces that matter to them.

Thank you for showing up for us today and for being part of such a meaningful milestone.

We are grateful to be growing here in Wi******er and excited to welcome clients into our studio.
