Hey Everyone! I wanted to jump on here and share a little more personal studio update. We are still in progress but close enough to share a little peek. This month has been a beautiful whirlwind. We have finally moved into the studio and had our last couple of weeks where we've been able to really start to soak it in, put in some amazing design work and just get into our zone. It feels so foundational and grounding. Possibly still feels too good to be true.

I'm so grateful for all the support we have been given and to our landlord and his team for helping make all of this possible. You know who you are. 😉

The real true hit me moment wasnt putting in the furniture, it wasn't the cabinetry install, although all of that was so exciting to see our vision coming to life. The hit me moment was seeing our logo for the first time on the wall. When we had it installed I didnt think much of it. I was excited yes, but the moment I walked out and saw it, I could see the journey that myself, my family, and my team have taken to get here. It hit me like the biggest warmest hug you could ever receive. I looked back on the growth from 6 years ago and I'm so proud to call this new space our Always Home Studio.

I absolutely love where we are as a firm and everyone on the team. I couldn't have done it without them and my incredible family and all the cheerleaders in my life.

So I just wanted to say thank you and we are so thrilled to be able to help more and more families, friends, and future friends we have yet to meet with bringing their visions to life.

For this kitchen, we assisted our client in creating a space that feels warm, polished, and practical for real life. The clean finishes, wood tones, soft contrast, and thoughtful details all work together without making the room feel untouchable.

Always Home Custom Designs has always been shaped by Katie Baker.

Built from the ground up in Wi******er, IN, Katie founded Always Home with a vision that reached beyond where it started.

As Founder and Lead Principal Designer, Katie leads the creative direction, design standard, and overall vision behind the projects Always Home is known for.

From residential homes to commercial spaces, her work has helped shape a firm trusted by homeowners, businesses, designers, builders, and architects far beyond our local community.

As Always Home has grown, so has the team around her. Every person plays an important role in bringing projects to life, but the direction of the firm continues to carry Katie’s eye, leadership, and standard.
