White Whale Pottery has a new toy!

Stacy and I just received our brand new Peter Pugger, model VPM-9SS. We ordered it over 2months ago.

My friends who are not into Pottery may not understand the Excitement Stacy and I are feeling right now, but I’m sure my Pottery Peeps get it😀

For this who don’t know this is a clay mixer/pugger(extruder) that also has a vaccum pump that “deairs” the clay. This model is all Stainless Steel which allows for pugging both Stoneware and Porcelain clays. The hopper on this pugger can hold 25 lbs of clay. We will use it to reclaim scraps of clay, and or pieces that don’t work out, and believe me, some days a lot of pieces don’t work out 😉

Now it’s time to start pugging the nine 5 gallon buckets of clay scraps we have that have been patiently awaiting this thing.

Last day of our pop up sale. There is still a lot of fine handcrafted pottery available. We will be open from 10:00 am until 7:00 pm tonight.

FYI 5 percent of sales will be donated to the Grass to Grace Ministry at Norway Grove Memorial Church. This ministry pays for the education of three little refugee girls in South Africa.
