I’ve had a busy and productive week over here!!

Knocked out:
- Estrella, slouchy hobo bag
- Sling Bag (custom order)
- 3 Clutch Wallets (currently my personal daily carry, love these things!)
- 6 Slim Cork Card Wallets
- and most of the Willow Tote prototype!

Time to plan out my next projects and see what’s taking the hardware so long to get here for the Willow Tote prototype.

Planned additions: exterior zip pocket, interior slip pocket, optional purse feet. Thinking I need to stabilize the main body a little more so it holds its shape better, but also balance the material costs. Lots to think about!

Oh and shhhh 🤫 I may be ordering my first round of official Aff & Bloom exterior bag labels! Still discussing details with the vendor, but I’m super excited!

These are a fun little addition to the shop and I love how chunky and sturdy they turned out. I’ll have these available in a few different hardware finishes! If these go over well, I may add a couple more colors.

Among everything happening in the Bloom Room, I’ve got something new in the works 🌸

The first draft of my very first sewing pattern, the Willow Tote, is ready for testing and refinement. It still feels like the beginning, with instructions still to be written and plenty of work ahead.

I’m really excited to see how it all comes together.

More updates to come as I move through the testing process 💕

Let’s just say, I’ve never been so glad to have a few years of pattern usage under my belt. A lot of it is open to interpretation and I can’t imagine selling a pattern like this! 🫠

It’s been a busy weekend over here! 🌸

I started drafting a new pattern that I’m excited to test out with some new premium-quality cork arriving later this week. I also sketched and finished two new keychain/sticker designs that I’ll share once they’re ready to show off!

I started cutting out a custom order this afternoon, then finished off the evening by knocking out a batch of flat keychain wristlets. 🥰🌸

This little cutie patootie is all finished! 🤍🌸

This is an Ivory & Floral Itty Bitty Bowler Bag, I chose a soft ivory exterior, to go with this amazing wildflower print, then went for a pop of color with the lavender interior. I absolutely love how fresh and springy this one turned out!

She’ll be coming to my shop soon and upcoming market later this year to look for her forever home. 💜

Working on a cute Itty Bitty Bowler bag over here in the Bloom Room. Using ivory and soft florals on the exterior, lavender polka dots on the inside, and antique brass hardware. 🌸💜

I think it’s going to be so cute!
