Just wrapped up this custom matching coffee and end table set. These pieces are built from rustic white oak, oversized and chunky to perfectly suit the open, spacious living room they’ve found a home in.

There’s something so satisfying about watching the process unfold - from a raw stack of rough cut hardwood to a finished set built to last for years of use and enjoyment. It’s always a good feeling sending off pieces that feel right at home the moment they’re delivered.

Nothing like a little shiplap and mantel to totally transform a living space. Simple, clean, cozy, and built to last. This fireplace got a definite upgrade!

Another bar top finished and installed. Just look at that cherry 🍒 grain, and the live edge adds a touch of warmth and nature to the living space. I picture a lot of morning lattes ☕️ and tasty treats finding their place on this beautiful piece.

I finished up these custom built RV end tables.

The walnut is finished with Rubio Monocoat and brings out the wood’s natural look yet is durable for daily use!

I added some flexible storage with the removable top and adjustable shelving. This was a fun build and looks great is this space.

Custom live edge floating bar stool seating for a local coffee shop. It was designed so the grain of the wood runs continuously down the wall from smallest section to largest, each fitting perfectly in its own window overlooking the lake.

Warsaw area friends, I’m now offering flattening services at my shop in Winona Lake. Let me help you move your project along to the next phase! I can flatten slabs/tables/boards/cookies from your smallest project to massive dining room tables. I’ve been flattening beautiful live edge slabs for woodworking projects for over 6 years and it’s something that I love to do. It’s also the most important part of the woodworking process.

*Flattening/Planing Services*
My services include flattening both the top and the bottom faces of the wood. This allows for natural movement to occur and maintain its flatness. It also ensures that each piece stays level and sits perfectly on any mount or base. I can flatten boards up to 38” wide, 90” long, and 3.5” thick. Prices depend on size and wood species.

*Woodworking Services*
Consider adding other services like cutting to size, debarking, joinery, miters, epoxy, and detailing (roundovers, chamfers, angles, etc.). Surfacing services only flatten the wood. Finish sanding is still necessary before applying any topcoat/finish. Sizing, sanding, and/or finishing can be done at an additional cost.
