Saint Rooster is a company that transforms ordinary pieces of furniture into wonderful works of art. Saintrooster originally started out as a hobby. eLIZabeth

I first and foremost was pursing a career in Hip Hop dance. Hip Hop was my primary passion and took every bit of focus I had in the busy swirling world of gigs and auditions. But when seasons were slow, I would turn to the Visual Arts to keep my creativity flowing and bright. Saintrooster, an anagram for "restorations", was really just a side thing and I never thought it would ever turn into what

it is today. In 2011, a great deal of life changing events happened and I decided to make the truck across country from sunny Los Angeles to my beautiful hometown of Winston-Salem....leaving my dance career behind. It was one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make but also one of the most rewarding. No more changing table! Time for a big girl vanity! 🥹 Revamped an old French Provincial vanity that my mom grew up with. Painted it Bridal Rose by Benjamin Moore, polycryliced 3 times for protection, cleaned and painted the hardware gold along with the chair, lined the drawers and cubby holes with leftover wallpaper I had to match her accent wall, padded the chair and recovered, and lastly, added a cute mirror from Anthropologie. ✨

A different kind of commission! Hired to make this blue tiger look as close as possible to the Woodberry Forest tiger for a kid’s playroom.

Just finished painting some shoes for a neighbor who’s a nurse! She wanted me to replicate what a previous artist had painted for her years ago.

Painted some shoes for my best friend’s niece and nephew, Farah and Adam! Farah loves the French show “Les Sisters” and Adam loves the anime characters from Dragon Ball Z. (It was a surprise for them ☺️). Tata Liz vous aime mes citrouilles! Oh and of course had to paint some pastèques on shoes in remembrance of her sweet grandmother. 🙏🏻❤️

After spending the last 3.5 years staying home to raise my precious daughter, I’m happy to announce that I am back at work! First piece I’ve painted in a long time. Slightly antiqued denim blue console for client.
