Forsyth Tech Interior Design Program offers a 2-year Associate in Applied Science degree. Our curriculum is designed to prepare students for a variety of job opportunities in the field of both residential and non-residential interior design. The focus of the study includes technical knowledge, professional practices, sustainable and aesthetic principles. Curriculum content includes residential an

d non-residential interior design, architectural drafting, computer-aided design, sustainable practices, and universal design. Also included are basic design, history of interiors and furnishings, color theory, products, business practices, graphic presentations, and general education courses. Graduates should qualify for a variety of jobs including residential and commercial interior design, set design, showroom design, sales positions for furniture, textiles and accessories, and all businesses dealing with interiors. Forsyth Tech is proud to share that Nelson Ricardo, Instructor in our Animation & Media Arts program (formerly Digital Effects & Animation Technology), was invited to serve as a guest speaker at this year’s RiverRun Film Festival. 🎬

The discussion explored the evolving landscape of animation, including training, emerging tools and career pathways shaping the future of the industry.
