One of the perks of being a flower farmer is always having a fresh bouquet.

After much thought, I've decided to take a step back from the farm stand for the remainder of the season.

This year has brought some significant challenges, from extreme heat and dry conditions to pest pressure that has impacted the quality of many of our blooms. One of my goals has always been to offer flowers that I'm proud to share, and right now I feel it's best to focus on growing, learning, and improving rather than pushing products that don't meet my standards.

The flowers aren't going anywhere. I'll continue growing and caring for the farm, evaluating what performs well in our conditions, and planning for the future. Sometimes the best thing a grower can do is pause, observe, and make thoughtful adjustments.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Fiddle Creek Farm, purchased flowers, followed along, and encouraged this journey. Your support has meant more than you know.
For now, I'm looking forward to spending time improving the farm, refining my crop selections, and preparing for seasons ahead.

Thank you for being part of the journey.

We won’t be open today. After harvest and quality checks this morning, I’m not comfortable offering the flowers at the standard I expect. I’ll be back with fresh blooms soon.

Last few weekends it was mostly soft whites, but now the field is waking up with richer tones and so much personality. It always feels like the garden is turning a page when this happens. Which color would you love to see more of in bouquets?
