Since moving to Winston in 2014 after the purchase and extensive renovation of the original Anne Cannon Forsyth home, she has established herself as a recognized and sought after talent. With clients that include local politicians, captains of industry, and some of Winston-Salem’s

first families, Pegram continues to bring a discerning eye and a Mid-century Modern sensibility to a city rich in tradition. Let’s say we turn the clock back to the 1950s and start moving forward. Perhaps I find an irresistible vintage Eames chair tucked in a corner at a consignment shop, and I later pair it with an intricately carved African stool functioning as a side table. For me, it is all about the balance and proper juxtaposition of beautifully designed objects, whether they be art, accessories, fabrics, or furniture. My roving eye can edit and assemble or specify with a broad stroke, which is something that comes from having 30-plus years of experience in the design arena.”
