🌸 Greenwood Revels & Flower Crowns

Before the full bloom, there is anticipation.

Not the loud kind. Not celebration yet. But something just beneath the surface, like laughter waiting to happen. The air feels different. Softer. Warmer. The kind of day where you stay outside a little longer than you meant to.

In older European traditions, the end of March began to lean toward something brighter.

Not quite Beltane. Not yet the full revelry of May. But the feeling of it approaching.

The Greenwood.

The wild places beginning to stir. Branches loosening. Buds swelling. The first flowers appearing in small clusters, scattered like quiet signals across the land.

Flower crowns, in later traditions, became symbols of joy, fertility, and connection to the living world. But at their core, they were simple.

Hands gathering what the land offered.

Weaving it together.

Wearing something alive.

March holds this energy in a gentler form.

It is not full celebration yet.

It is the invitation.

🌸 Flower: Early woven blossoms. Whatever is just beginning to appear.

Nothing forced. Nothing gathered in excess. Just what is ready.

🔮 Subtle Practice
Create something with your hands today using natural elements if you can. It does not have to be perfect. A small bundle. A simple weave. Even just arranging something you found outside.

Let it be living.

Let it be temporary.

Not everything needs to last to be meaningful.
