I had a super fun day at Graceful Marilyn Quilt Shoppe in Marshall MN yesterday. I was asked to present a trunk show of Mystery Five-O and Six-Pack Party quilts to help celebrate their 5th anniversary. 🎉😁

Such a fun shop to visit -- beautiful fabrics and a fun team. L-R, Wendy, Dawn, Mom (Marilyn), me, Michelle, Heather, and Cindy.

Oh.... I kept Cindy very busy cutting fabric. Can't wait to show you what I purchased for some new Six-Pack quilt designs.

Tucked inside a historic building in downtown Marshall MN, this shop has an eclectic fabric selection and totally cool vibe. And if you look closely, you're likely to find a squirrel or two...

The oldest quilt in my collection is a Baptist Fan applique with black blanket stitching around the edges. It was made with love by my great-grandma in the 30's. A few of the fabrics are a little ratty -- they have broken down over the years. I have 3 of her quilts and I treasure them. She always finished her applique with black blanket stitching, so her quilts are easy to spot.

I'm heading north today, to visit Graceful Marilyn Quilt Shoppe in Marshall MN, to help them celebrate their 5th anniversary. I'll be giving a couple of presentations and showing quilts from Mystery Five-0 and Six-Pack Parties.

I'm looking forward to meeting quilters, and have loaded up a goodie bag of give-aways: PinPals, Trader's Dice, and ChainRippers.

It's a beautiful fall day, and I should see some gorgeous colors on the road.

I love putting purples and greens together! This six-pack bundle from Nebraska Quilt Company will be striking in the upcoming Half-n-Half Six-Pack Party quilt!
