“At a time when it can feel difficult to effect meaningful change, we can become active participants knowing that the gardens we plant connect past and present to our own health and happiness. As heirloom gardeners, we become stewards of landscapes woven together by generations of seeds and soil, acorns and oaks, fireflies and monarchs, chickadees and bumblebees, grandparents and great-grandchildren.
If we observe closely, they can help us to learn from the past, and plant the seeds of a more sustainable future. This is what make me a passionate gardener!”
