Okay but THESE roses… 🤎✨

The warm caramel tones, the velvety texture, the way they look almost antique in the light? Obsessed.

One thing we LOVE at Backstreet is bringing in blooms that feel a little different from the everyday grocery store flowers — specialty roses, garden textures, unique colors, and stems that make people stop and stare. 💐

Because flowers should feel special… not basic 😉

Julia Jennean Wood McCutchen, lovingly known as "Neanie," passed away exactly where she wished to be: at home, in Togo, Ark., on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at the age of 96.

Born on November 15, 1929, also in Togo, Ark., Jennean was the daughter of Anna Mae and Tom Wood. She graduated from Parkin High School before attending Arkansas State University, where she met the love of her life, Paul McCutchen. The two were married on June 26, 1949, and shared 65 devoted years together filled with family, faith, and friendship.

Over the years, Paul and Jeannean created lasting friendships and unforgettable memories in their hometown community, as well as on beloved Sanibel Island, where they loved vacationing together.

Jennean was a lifelong member of the Parkin Methodist Church, and was active in the Parkin Garden Club and PEO Chapter AY. She loved her community deeply and was known for her gracious spirit, steady kindness, warm hospitality, and famous "Neanie Bread."

More than anything, Jennean cherished her family. She poured her love into every gathering, every home-cooked meal, every grandchild's visit to Togo, and every cherished beach trip that became part of the family's stories and traditions.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul McCutchen; her son, Lex McCutchen; her sister, Pat Wood Neal; and her brother, Tom Wood.

She leaves behind a loving family who will miss her dearly, including her daughter, Tommie (Scott) Puryear, of Fayetteville; her son, Glenn (Luann) McCutchen, of McDonough, Ga.; her daughter-in-law, Patty McCutchen, of Russellville, Ark.; and Rona McCutchen, of Marion, Ark. Her greatest joy was being "Neanie" to her grandchildren: Julie (Brian) Troutt, Paul Glenn (Jordan) McCutchen III, Coy (Molly) Puryear, Thomas (Claudia) McCutchen, and Conner (Barbie) McCutchen.

She was also blessed with 10 great-grandchildren: Annie Crouch, Avery Troutt, George Crouch, Symphony Baze, Tacker McCutchen, Henley McCutchen, Winston Puryear, Clayton McCutchen, Mac Puryear, and Lex McCutchen. Jennean will be remembered for her deep love of family, her faithful heart, and the gentle way she made everyone feel welcome and cared for.

A service will be held on Thursday, May 21, at 2 p.m., at the Merriman in Wynne, Ark.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Jackie Andrews, 85, of Wynne, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2026, at the home of her brother in Wynne.

Born on November 15, 1940, Jackie was a lifelong resident of Wynne and lived a life marked by unwavering faith, deep love, and selfless service. She worshipped her God wholeheartedly, loved her family fiercely, and served others tirelessly. Her life was a reflection of John 15:13—laying down her time, energy, resources, and herself to show others the love of God.

She shared 61 years of devoted marriage with her husband, Bobby Andrews, the only love of her life. They were married on March 15, 1960, and together built a life centered on faith, family, and serving others. He preceded her in death on March 5, 2022.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Marshall and Margaret Walker; her brother, Billy Walker; her daughter, Lisa Shaw; and her niece, Billie Jo Walker.

She is survived by her brother, Ricky Walker; her daughter, Elizabeth Clegg; three grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; one niece; one nephew; and many others who lovingly knew her as “Aunt Jackie” or “Mommaw.”

Jackie had a deep love for music and faithfully played the piano at her church, using her gift to worship and lead others into the presence of God. She found joy in bringing family together, often cooking large meals that filled both the home and the hearts of those gathered. She also had a special place in her heart for the elderly, serving them through what she lovingly called her “popsicle ministry,” always looking for simple ways to bring comfort and joy to others.

She was known for speaking the truth boldly—never afraid to say what needed to be said—but she carried that truth with a compassion that met people where they were. Her strength and tenderness worked hand in hand, leaving a lasting impact on those who knew her.

When asked what she most wanted to be remembered for, her answer was always the same: that she loved the Lord with her whole heart. Those who knew her can say with confidence—that is exactly how she lived.

Her legacy of faith, love, and service will continue through the generations she poured into. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 24, 2026, in the Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home chapel in Wynne with Bro. Fred Dover officiating. Interment will follow in Harris Chapel Cemetery near Wynne.

Friends may visit at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until service time.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Scott Brewington, Walker Brewington, Joseph Brewington, Ronnie Coffman, Justin Armstrong, and Richard Walker Jr.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital by mail at 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105 or online at www.stjude.org.

Arrangements are entrusted to Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home of Wynne.
