One of the top needs for this room was storage, but you won't see a ton in the after photos. As we started designing the new space, we realized we are a family who plays in ALL rooms of the house so we designated storage in the living room and finished basement, in addition to the playroom. Painted the chair rail, left the moldings and trim behind, for a slightly more modern look. This is one of our favorite shots of the vibrant blue hue in this room, . Its mood shifts with every ray of light and never fails to take me along with it.

The little olive branch in the corner is a year-round staple, but we think it doubles nicely as a sprig of Christmas cheer!
