Would you be able to work with this noise all day?

Personally, I'm glad we're only there for about an hour. By the time we're done, I'm ready to get the heck out of there and away from that sound.

Running one of our blue river epoxy tables through the wide belt sander down in Portland. This machine absolutely eats material and gets these surfaces dead flat, but man, it's loud.

This table is headed to a customer soon, and every pass through the sander gets us one step closer to the final finish.

The guys down at Creative Woodworks helping us square up this beast of a mantle and push it through their incredible planer.

I mean, come on... look at this thing.

A single slab Black Walnut mantle measuring roughly 11" x 11" x 76" and weighing well over 300 pounds. The scale of this piece is hard to appreciate until you see it moving through the machines.

This is the kind of mantle that completely changes a room. Clean. Modern. Massive. Unapologetic.

Now it's getting surfaced, cleaned up, and prepared for its next home.

Some pieces make a statement before they're even finished.

This single slab Black Walnut mantle measures 11" x 11" x 76" and tips the scales at well over 300 pounds. Watching it go through the planer gives you a pretty good idea just how massive this thing really is.

If you're looking for a modern mantle that instantly becomes the centerpiece of the room, this is it. Clean lines, incredible grain, and enough presence that people will wonder how it's even hanging on the wall.

Currently being surfaced and finished.

Avocado's Mexican Restaurant is expanding, and they reached out about a 22-foot river bar. They sent us a few inspiration photos, and from there we were able to create a render showing what a custom piece could look like in their space.

One of the biggest advantages of working with us is that you don't have to guess what the finished product will look like. We can create realistic renderings of your project before we ever start building, giving you a clear vision of the final result in your home, business, restaurant, or office.

You don't need to show up with every detail figured out. Bring us the inspiration, the style, or simply the destination you're trying to reach, and we'll help guide the design from there.

Every piece is handcrafted, so the final product will always have its own unique character, but our rendering process helps bring the vision to life long before the first cut is made.

Have an idea for your space? Let's build it.

The client wanted it dark.

We started with Dark Walnut, but that wasn't enough. The goal was a deep, dark finish while still keeping the character of the walnut underneath.

This is one step in that process. Sometimes getting a finish right means sanding it back and doing it again. No shortcuts. No settling.

9 feet of black walnut, an river, and a finish that took a few rounds to get exactly where we wanted it.

Fourth time was the charm.

Just a little glimpse of this one.

9 feet of black walnut, finished in a deep, rich tone to match our client's vision. Even with the darker finish, the character and grain of the walnut still come through beautifully.

Featuring an river that adds just the right amount of contrast and depth while letting the wood remain the star of the show.

Still putting the finishing touches on it, but this one is going to be something special.

9' x 43" bookmatched Black Walnut, freshly finished and brought to life with Osmo Hardwax Oil. The depth, the movement in the grain, and the natural character of the walnut all come alive when that finish hits.

Pictures never quite do these pieces justice. The way the light moves across the grain and the richness of the wood have to be seen in person.

Available now for $6,000.

One of the best things about a hardwax oil finish is how easy it is to maintain and keep looking incredible for years to come.

In this video, we’re conditioning this piece using Howard Butcher Block Conditioner and fine steel wool to work that conditioner deep into the surface and grain.

This helps nourish the wood, enrich the depth and tone, and keep the table looking rich and protected as it ages. Over time, conditioning like this helps fully saturate the pores and maintain that smooth, natural feel that makes hardwax finished pieces so special.

Real wood is meant to be lived with, maintained, and appreciated for generations. A little care goes a long way.
