When people hear “statement” lighting, they often conjure something akin to a big, traditional chandelier or something that’s enormous, scintillating, covered in glittery crystals, trying desperately to be the center of attention.

But there are plenty of modern chandelier ideas that aren’t that.

Statement lighting fixtures can be dramatic, certainly - and we’ve designed plenty of rooms with those moments - but it doesn’t have to be. Statement lighting can also be quietly sculptural, unexpected, or beautifully tailored. Sometimes the most memorable fixture is the one that simply feels so right for the room.
