Not every kitchen transformation needs a gut renovation. ✨Sometimes the best projects are about knowing what to keep and what to change.
For this Maine kitchen, we preserved the character of the original space and gave it a lighter feel with a few thoughtful updates: freshly painted cabinetry, soapstone-inspired quartz countertops, and a classic checkerboard linoleum floor.
The updated tile flooring is a nod to simpler times. Its familiar pattern brings personality to the kitchen while giving the space a fresh new foundation. The result feels brighter, fresher and completely at home without losing its original charm.
It’s a good reminder that design doesn’t always have to mean starting over. Sometimes a few well-chosen changes can completely shift the way a room feels. 🤍🩶
