Hey everyone, just wanted to say a few things. My wood working journey started when I was employed at a lumber yard. I saw something and said to myself, “Could I make that?” Since then, my knowledge and skill has improved slowly but steadily. I started sourcing my lumber where I could even going to junkyards and breaking down pallets. It was a struggle to get going making things to sell was easy but getting people to buy it was another story all together. There were times if I didn't have the support from my girlfriend I would have given up on my new dream.
I worked really hard to buy new tools, talking to other wood workers for tips and gathering trade secrets. It is going on 2 years of hard work and I have been doing custom work for people. I have had people search me out and ask if I could make a custom piece for them. It has been difficult but I am proof that if you keep it going there will be opportunities to get you to the next level. Well that opportunity is here.
I will be merging my small company with Keith Foster of Acacia Mills. I will be in a new 1500 sq foot shop. This has been a great opportunity that I have been approached with and I am chomping at the bit to get into this new shop that was recently finished up this month.
Acacia Mills will be providing custom woodworking and tree milling services to the people. I am looking forward to the partnership with Keith Foster and can't wait to produce high end furniture and custom chairs and tables. These are a few pictures of the new shop where I will be hanging my apron up for the foreseeable future. I thank everyone for the support they have given me and look forward to continuing this journey with my new business partner. As always my friends, Stay Tuned.
