I’ve been dreading making this post but here we goooo!
The last two years have been so fun having my very own little shop, but it’s also been the hardest. Lots of ups and downs, lots of tears, but a whole lot of joy. As with any business, right? 😅

Now, times that by two - because ya girl has been running two businesses and momming real hard.

Over the last few months, I’ve been hearing the Lord ask me to write again and to give more attention to my photography business. There are things He has called me to do years ago that I have just set aside until it fit into my timeline. Or until I got the courage to do it 😏

But if there’s anything I’ve learned during my walk with Jesus, it’s that His timing is always so much better than mine. My timeline is the one that’s always late, or sometimes too soon. It’s jumbled and messy and there’s a lot of striving there. But His timing - it’s effortless and always on time.

And when you give Him your yes - there’s a boldness that covers you even though every muscle is tensing with nervousness.

So, I’m laying some things down in order to make room for what the Lord wants to do with my life.

I don’t know exactly what all of this means but I do know that my creativity and passion for photography is like a burning flame right now.

I know that I’m finding my voice again in writing and in prayer and if you know my story, then you know this is no small thing.

And I know that I’ll be obedient. I’ll be more present. And I might sleep a little better 🤪

Thank you for allowing me to share my creativity and love for crafting with you! I’ll still be around doing small things here and there but the shop will be closing this coming Monday! Everything on my site is what’s left - so please shop around and enjoy some pretty sweet discounts ☺️

Lastly, I have a few churches, schools, and businesses I work with for custom bulk and wholesale orders and I will continue to do this! While the shop will be closing, I will remain available and taking orders for bulk orders only - just message me!

Let’s get real - running three social media accounts is tiring. There have been too many hours spent in creating posts and reels that end up being only 8 seconds long. Too many hours spent staring at my phone. Too much stress of wondering what to post just for the sake of posting something so I don’t lose my online credibility.

So it’s time for a social media break.

Don’t worry, I’m still creating but allowing myself to create without the pressure to post about it.

I’ll be using this time to prepare for fall and Christmas markets, create new collections, be more present, and just spend my time intentionally.

I’ll still be popping up here and there on my personal account to share writings .cloteaux and on my photography account .co so come hang with me over there!

Check my website periodically to see what’s new! Everything online is ready to ship and I’ll still be taking large custom orders. Nothing is changing except for my social media presence here!

I will be at the Nutcracker: Christmas in July market at the CajunDome this Saturday from 10am-4pm!

I’ll have my newest Christian collection, my usual ASL + Scripture, Louisiana, and even a selection of Christmas/seasonal styles on major sale if you like shopping early!!

I will also have the biggest variety of bracelets I’ve ever offered at a market and can’t wait to share them with you! I will even have some goodies from my sweet friends .bhco!! 🥹 so many new things coming this weekend and the Nutcracker gets first dibs so come out and support local!

Reality of a small biz owner: IT’S WILD OUT HERE YALL🤪 I know I’ve been MIA for a couple weeks but hear me out - things are happening behind the scenes. I’m so excited to be introducing our farmers market and game day collections soon as well as some other cool thangs 😊

Aside from BH & Co, I’m also a full time wedding and family photographer. Most importantly, I’m a wife and a mother. So between all those things, I’m doing my best to show up here🫶🏻
