Hey y’all! If you’re looking for the hands-on interior designer who can turn your interior design daydreams into a reality of comfortable luxury, you’re in the right place! I specialize in crafting high-end but livable spaces for real people like you – people who have visions of stylish kitchens, chic master suites, and well-organized walk-in closets - but don't necessarily have the time or expertise to make those things happen. In other words, I help homeowners find charming, intelligent, and one-of-a-kind design solutions to best suit their one-of-a-kind lives. So, what do you need to know about me? From creating the big dream to the smallest details, I’m a bit of a perfectionist. Just the other day, a client's home needed some custom doors. I could have ordered something standard, sure, but where's the fun in that? Instead, I opted to hand-select the perfect pieces of cypress, brought them home, hand-varnished them, purchased and added highly specific hardware, and had one of my fine detail contractors install those doors. I TOLD you I was a perfectionist, but it's worth it - these doors turned out spectacular, y'all. (You can see them in this gallery.) I do my best work when I can go into your home and solve a problem. Willing to tear down a wall? Great! Not into demolition? OK, we'll work with what you've got. Either way, we will create a jawdroppingly gorgeous solution where you get to live your best lifestyle (and stay within your budget - or at least pretty darn close to it). I've lived in this area my whole life - Acadiana born and raised! - and my parents should have known I'd grow up to be a designer. While other kids were watching cartoons after school, I'd be moving the furniture around to redecorate the living room - my momma never knew quite what she'd find when she came home! I love spending time with my husband and my two kids - so much, in fact, that I have them working on handcrafted furnishing projects, too, sometimes! I spend my free time pondering my next project while flipping through my favorite magazines, and of course, shopping for exquisite home goods. When we work together, I'll probably be able to make you laugh even in the middle of construction chaos, our design meetings might include chatting over a good bottle of wine, and you'll love the compliments you get on your extraordinary new home - I try my darnedest not to use the same thing twice.
