🥩 Beef and potatoes in one pot
Ingredients:
* 1.3 kg beef chuck, cut into pieces
* 450 g mushrooms, chopped
* 700 g potatoes, cut in chunks
* 2 onions, chopped
* 2 cups mixed fresh herbs (parsley, dill, green onion…)
* 360 ml water
* 60 ml white wine
* 1 beef bouillon cube
* 2 tablespoons olive oil
* 4 tablespoons butter
* 4 tablespoons sour cream
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).
2. Heat oil in a pan and sear the beef until nicely browned.
3. In the same pan, cook onions and mushrooms until lightly golden.
4. Place beef in a pot, add vegetables, herbs, and potatoes on top.
5. Pour in water, wine, and bouillon, then add butter.
6. Cover and cook in the oven for about 2 hours.
7. Add sour cream and a bit more butter, cook 20 minutes more.
8. Stir gently and serve warm with fresh herbs.
