Our annual tradition of celebrating my mother, Wanda Acree-Erickson, for her bday. For many years, I'd bring her to our sushi spot for her bday. She would have been 69 today and I definitely would have made some funny jokes utilizing that fact. We miss you ever day momma... and Phoenix ate her first piece of real sushi and ate a piece of a yellowtail cut roll, and she didn't spit it out!
