Edinburgh Imports has a Cat Challenge for August. We have three fabrics that we have marked down for the challenge. We are offering $5.00 off any of our cat patterns if you need help with making your cat. On Edinburgh's home page of the website there is a specials link in the brown bar across the top of the page, click that. If you accept this challenge you will need to purchase at least a fat quarter of one of the fabrics offered and complete your cat and send us a picture by Aug.31,2020. At Edinburgh Imports we have HOPE! Back in the 90's Hope was designed by Brenda Hallaway for Edinburgh to help bring HOPE to women diagnosed with Breast Cancer. We decided to bring HOPE out of retirement for Covid 19. We have two 13" Hope kits. The white kit for Hope 13 is Steiff-Schulte Synthetic and the mauve kit is mohair. We are offering a kit to make a bear from this pattern. It is our desire for you to help find some comfort while making this bear and that that comfort may continue when you hold this little bear. The Comfort Bears kit has been marked down to $5.00 plus shipping. The kit contains a piece of mini fabric, mohair or viscose of your choice from the Mini Critter fabric section of the website, eyes, joint and glass stuffing. Write in the comment section which fabric you would like. Also the pattern calls for a set screw joint. If you would rather have a cotter pin joint put that in the comment section also. This is a sitting design and only has one joint that goes from the head through the arms and into the body. Do a search for Comfort Bears if you have trouble finding the kit.
