Miley’s Story 🐾
Miley came into our lives the day the movie theatre in Yukon was torn down in September 2022. My son Logan was in south OKC helping a friend when he stopped at Sonic for lunch. Not long after, an Uber driver pulled up, tossed her out near the busy intersection, and drove away. Logan called us right away, and we went to get her.
At first, we weren’t sure what to do—but it didn’t take long for everyone at the store and those who stopped by to fall in love with her. She quickly made Dusty Roads her new home and became part of our family.
Just five days after her arrival, Miley had two kittens. They stayed with us for about six weeks before our friend, actor Lane Factor, adopted them both. One was a snowshoe Siamese, and the other was black and white. They’ve both grown bigger than their mom now and are so loved! We still get to see them from time to time, and they definitely share some of Miley’s sweet traits.
