A little reminder from our Olive + Oak crew 🖌
We LOVE being a family-friendly space. Kids are welcome here, creativity can be messy, excitement can be loud and we fully expect little humans to be… well, little humans. 😂 We keep markers for coloring, books and other little distractions around for when kiddos finish painting because we genuinely want families to feel comfortable here.
But family-friendly does not mean anything goes.
We do need parents and caregivers to actively help us make sure kiddos are respecting our studio, our supplies, other guests and most importantly... our staff.
Please help us keep little hands out of areas that aren’t part of their activity, keep projects and supplies where they belong and step in to help redirecting you child. Our staff is always happy to help, but they cannot simultaneously run the studio, assist customers and supervise someone else’s children while they are painting.
I’m incredibly proud of how kindly and professionally my team handled themselves this week when there were some tough moments ❤️
We want Olive + Oak to continue being a place where families can come create, laugh and have FUN - we just need everyone’s cooperation in taking care of the space and the people in it.
Thank you to the overwhelming majority of our families who already do exactly that. We appreciate you more than you know. 🥰
