An absolutely beautiful afternoon to be out in the shop, making these beauties!

A Black Slimline, dressed in a Neon color swirl from Roman Steichen at 3rd Gen Pen Shop & Sew Amusing.

A Gunmetal Slimline, dressed in what I'm calling Peacock, also from Roman at 3rd Gen.

Last, a Gold Slimline, dressed in a Purple, Orange, Pink, and Blue swirl blank from Cocoon Blanks.

All three are available if interested, $25 plus the ride.

Tonight's live shenanigans!

A Chrome Cigar twist pen, dressed in a Denim Micarta blank, from Ken Frisbee at Ken's Penz, with a nice, shiny CA finish. This one definitely turned easier than the only other micarta blank I've turned before, possibly from the difference in the fabric material. I like this one, it looks good, but definitely not one of my favorites.

What do you guys all think?

As we close out this Memorial Day, take a moment to think about and remember all the ones who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms. The freedoms every single American enjoys today is a debt that can never be fully repaid, though we should never stop trying! To all who have serve or have served, thank you. To all who lost their lives defending our freedom, we will never forget you! Remember, all gave some, but some gave all!

Tonight's live shenanigans!

A spent 30-06 shell casing from Jason Rose at Speakeasy pen emporium & supply Co., with a Whitetail Deer antler cap from Steven Holloway at Sapper Blanks, with Antique Copper hardware. A very beautiful pen, that would make an awesome Father's day gift for any dad who likes deer hunting, guns, or both!

***Due to lack of vendors, we have unfortunately decided to cancel at this event. This was strictly a business. Small businesses cannot thrive without foot traffic, and there wasn't enough vendors here to being that traffic in. I just couldn't justify paying the fee to sit there all day with no potential traffic.
