“The color of food is crucial, as it affects our appetite and perception of taste.
In creating artificial food, while the shapes may not require complicated details or realism, the color itself determines the type of food, freshness, tastiness, and maturity of the product. In the picture, you can see that the two samples of bread have different colors ( which is the outcome of my increased recognition of lightness and color tone )
Also temperature plays a big role in determining the color of bread crust. A longer baking time and higher temperature result in a darker, stronger crust. Lighter crusts create a softer, milder flavor and can make fillings look more vibrant. I chose brighter colors this time for a more appealing look”

After two weeks of struggling with Blender techniques and finishing Etsy’s orders, this week I have a little time to take care of this social media business. Today I would like to share my personal experience with coloring bread crust and why color matters in Food, i hope you find it interesting and applicable for your workflow.
Creating fake food is all about making it look more appealing than real food. This is something I learned from watching YouTube videos.
