Redwing Imports/exports, produces, designs, redesigns, retails and wholesales handcrafted products by some of the most talented craftsmen and creative minds in the world. We are now also happy to offer on our website a selection of the latest and top sell
ing items. When we started our interest in business in this industry 15 years ago we set out by just purchasing and importing products to Canada, retailing at some small events along with doing some wholesaling this proving to be profitable even though we were in the far north western part of Canada. Finding a great support and interest from the public we found a great opportunity for ourselves but we also recognized that there were some quality issues that needed to be addressed or there were going to be some issues in the future. Learning that north Americans and Europeans wanted quality first and price second left me a great opportunity to work hands on and utilize my ideas and to work with the many skilled craftsmen in the many villages here in northern Thailand. This allowed us in 2004, to move into retailing in Shopping Malls for Christmas season and we then are doing business on a larger scale. Knowing what the customer wants and our products having a proven track record allowed us incorporate our direct sales store into an online business as well. What makes us different? All our products are in stock unlike many of the larger online businesses as to where when they get the order they then buy the product from the artist and this is an advantage to us as we have done our quality control the product is ready to go on the shelf and we are in fact employing people producing products and are also working with and building relationships the artists in the rural villages. We are generally about hand crafted products but sometimes we come across things that are just too good to pass up on a good example would be our t-shirts that are as popular as all of other products and of the great quality as well. When you purchase from us you will notice that the packaging and boxes are of handmade and hand packed by Redwing Imports staff.
