Standing proudly at Glasgow Green, the People’s Palace has been telling the story of the city and its people for more than a century. When editing this image, I wanted to bring out the warmth and character of the Victorian architecture while preserving the sense of history woven into every stone.

A reminder that some of Scotland’s most beautiful landmarks aren’t castles—they’re places built for the people.

Where else can you sit in peaceful gardens beneath a fortress that has watched over the city for centuries? 🏰🌿

This view across Princes Street Gardens towards the National Galleries and Edinburgh Castle captures everything I love about Scotland’s capital — timeless architecture, dramatic history, and quiet moments of everyday life unfolding beneath it all.

I wanted this image to feel less like a photograph and more like a memory of Edinburgh — warm, atmospheric, and full of character.
