Back after 8 months. No creativity juice, just pure art block and the classic excuse—“no time.” So instead of forcing it, I decided to ditch the rules, the expectations, and just sketch every other day. But to make sure I actually stuck with this plan, I needed a sketchbook that forced commitment.

A book that proved rough and unpolished can be just as good. No repetitive pages, no comfort zones—just a new challenge every day. The pages decided the tools.

So, I made my own sketchbooks. Took all the random paper I’d hoarded over the years (quilling paper included), and turned them into something usable. What followed? Countless hours, sore hands from manually punching holes (yes, one by one, the inexperience is glowing), a wrecked back from cutting pages on a stack paper cutter, and endless frustration over binding. A true labour of love.

And now? I finally get to use it. Here’s to embracing the mess, the mistakes, and the magic that comes with it.

Came across this little ‘really hidden’ gem while walking around Munich. Not a mainstream point of interest, however, it left an impression. Very likely to turn into a reference for one of the architectural pieces to come! ✨
