This was a tricky one!! Hollowing out the inside to create the cave but I think it was worth it!! The USB powered LED colour changing light really sets it off. This will be available on the 12th September at the Upper Hutt Spring Festival

The new light going thru its colour phase

A couple of different pieces finished today First up i had a play with some Andesite stone which is a very hard volcanic rock from Mt taranaki. I've lacquered the front which brings out the natural brown hue of the stone and the back is left raw.
Second up is another led light for indoors, this was a very hard piece of limestone with a lovely iron ore streak thru it which gives it a nice golden colour. These will be available at the Upper Hutt Spring Festival on the 12th september

Another wee change up from the traditional pieces I've been doing lately. This thistle is 400mm x 400mm and will have a stainless steel hook in the back so it can hang on a fence or wall. Fully sealed for outdoors $160
