Rugged, refined, and completely intentional. 🖤

For this side of the gym, I wanted to create a realistic brick wall that brought depth, texture, and a slightly gritty, industrial feel to the space. A lot of time and attention went into building up the details so the brick would feel authentic—not overly perfect or uniform, but naturally aged and full of character.

What I love most is the contrast between the two adjoining walls. The clean lines and structured appearance of the slat paneling feel modern and refined, while the brick brings in a rawness that keeps the design grounded and gives the room its edge.

The two finishes are completely different, but that was the intention: crisp lines against imperfect texture, polished against rugged, and modern design balanced by an industrial element that feels like it has always belonged there.

It’s this kind of contrast that can take a dark space from feeling flat to feeling layered, thoughtful, and entirely custom.

Some projects stay with you long after they’re finished. This is one of them.

When my clients trusted me with transforming this custom-built bar, I knew it deserved more than just a fresh coat of paint.

Every detail mattered—from preserving the character of the craftsmanship to creating a finish that felt timeless while fitting the home they envisioned.
