Hello my beautiful bb’s! I’m incredibly proud to share this little piece of my heart with you. This idea has been a year in the making and I’m so excited to be getting it started. The EmBODYment Project.

I’m teaming up with Golden Leaf Studios here in Missoula to put on a special pop up event on October 19th! I will be starting things off at 1pm with an introduction to this project, the inspiration behind why I’m starting it, and will be sharing a bit of my own story. It will be the first (of hopefully many) sessions and I would love for you all to join me in celebration of our bodies. I can’t pull this off without you.

I have big dreams for this little project. Everyone’s body tells a story… I would love to hear yours and create some beautiful artwork with you to showcase and tell that story. More than creating the art, my biggest vision is to create a safe space for people to come together and cultivate a sense community and friendship. I would love to play even a small part in empowering others to build stronger relationships with their bodies. To plant the seed of radical self love and acceptance. I want everyone to feel worthy and proud to show up as their most raw and authentic self. I want you to take up the space, friend. I want you to find and claim your power.

Here are those custom Phoenix earrings! They will be finished with a metal accent connector, a charm, and earring hooks. I created two sets using different techniques and my customer will be choosing the pair she wants!

One pair of these beauties will be up for grabs in a couple weeks! I’ll post the finished product once she chooses and let you know which ones are available!

My beautiful friend Amber asked me to create this floral headpiece and these bridal earrings for her wedding. I also had the privilege to do her hair as well. She was stunning!

The floral crown was made with a base of wired silk accent flowers that I used to shape the round foundation. I then added a variety of handmade clay flowers and leaves with wire. We were going for a wildflower look with warm tones. I finished some of the flowers with rhinestone centers to elevate it and bring it some subtle sparkle.

The earrings are a ch*****ne pearlescent base with simple white roses and flowers with tiny opalescent pearl centers. The ear wires were hand made from copper wire and the crystal connector accents were handmade as well.

The possibilities are endless with polymer clay! I would love to help you design a custom piece that I can create for you as well! Message me with your ideas and we can make it happen!

I’m beyond thrilled to let you know that Moonflower Studio will be at PRIDE again this year!! Not only will we be set up at the block party on Friday and Saturday, I was also asked to be at the Paddleheads pride baseball game on Thursday as well! So you’ll have plenty of opportunities to stop by, say hello, and check out my latest designs!! Happy Pride Missoula!!

Remember that translucent rainbow slab I posted about?! This is one of the ways I’m using it. Part of my pride collection this year are more detailed hand sculpted bodies and body parts!

This one that I’m calling “spirit” gives you a peek inside to see how I imagine my spirit looks without a body. Like a mosaic of stained glass… “beautifully broken”. I’m just trying to normalize and de-stigmatize bodies. I want to create acceptance and awareness of what real bodies look like… and empower you to love yours in whatever shape, color, and size it is. I want people to realize that bodies and their parts are not inherently sexual or erotic. Too much shame and guilt exists within those of us who were raised to believe that we are only as good as our bodies are healthy or desirable, or only as pure as our bodies are untouched. Such damaging lies and beliefs that need to be destroyed. You are enough. You are exquisite. You are valuable and priceless. In whatever body you exist in. Because of the body you exist in. And for every part of you that has nothing to do with your body. You are so much more than your body… but we’re stuck inside of them, so why not learn to love them.❤️
