Boxwood & Brass

Boxwood & Brass specializes in fabulously refinished furniture. Hi friends! Thank you for visiting my page and supporting local artisans and small businesses.

I'm so happy you're here! :)

My name is Julia and I'm married to an amazing man named Steven. He is my rock and I feel genuinely blessed that found a love I never even dreamt was possible. I am also a step momma to an incredible little girl named Aisley. I never knew it was possible to love a child that was not my own, but she came in to my life and changed my whole world. We've recently purchased our first home and live a simple but happy life with our two goofy dogs Bailey and Maggie. I spend my days shaping young minds (I say that with only a hint of sarcasm ) and I genuinely love my job as a high school Spanish teacher and I love my "kids". I've always had a creative side and I started decorating and refinishing a few years ago. Through the encouragement of friends and family I decided to take a leap of faith and start a small business. I'm excited to see where this new adventure takes me and I hope you'll join me for the ride!
