Did you know we mix paint right here in store? 🎨

Farrow & Ball and Fenwick & Tilbrook can both be mixed while you wait, so there’s no need to order ahead. (stock depending)

With the cooler, drier weather, it’s a great time to get those painting jobs ticked off, whether that’s freshening up a room or tackling the outside of the house.

We’re also Little Greene stockists, with colour cards and boards from all three brands in store to browse. And we’re always happy to help with colours and finishes if you’re not quite sure!

Some beautiful finishing touches fitted this week

New curtains in this gorgeous Linwood fabric, finished with a wave heading for a slightly more contemporary, softer feel. Alongside the curtains, we added a new headboard, cushions and lampshade to bring everything together.

We love how it’s given this beautiful 1920s coastal home even more personality, while still feeling completely at home with the character of the property.

Bedroom 4 at The Hyde has been full of boxes since we moved in… we have been sorting them over the past couple of days. So…. I’m so excited to have cobbold together a scheme. Starting with my lovely Angie Lewin print. I’ve added an ercol bed and just love the simplicity. The bedroom is painted in Farrow & Ball Schoolhouse white, which has a perfect earthy tone.

I have lots to sort yet but it’s a start and I love it ! The throw is from the Secret Linen Store . I think it’s now discontinued as I’ve had it a while.

I’ll add a blind or maybe curtains in here at some point. Something calm.. my floral hand painted 1920s sideboard I had in the old shop will sit opposite the bed.
