Work in progress. This is a 6x8 terrain piece for displaying miniatures. I used foam, toilet paper and paint. Then added some resin and cat litter. A crazy combination of items to make this cool looking piece. Oh did I mention hot glue.

Homemade Mimic for D&D. I am really proud of this model. It cost me maybe 3 dollars to make and that is an over estimate. I made a batch of homemade paper clay for the teeth. Hot glue for the tongue and popsicle sticks for the chest. After painting, glazing and dry brushing I added glossy accents from Ranger. I brushed it on the teeth, inside the mouth and on the tongue.

Made a house for Tabletop Gaming out of cardboard, food packaging and dollar tree foam and moss. I am proud and want to keep building more and more terrain.

Alice my 6 year old has chosen and designed her first monster. We will work on sculpture on another day but she has already done a lot of story telling. We pulled 7 cards from Monster Bash created by different artist on YouTube.

I cannot wait until I have the Apocalypse Ghost miniature from I went a little overboard preparing for the arrival. According to the website I wound even get my box until April and I have started on my idea for the miniature. I am so excited that i was able to get this art box. This scene still needs a lot of work, painting, flocking, detailing. But I am super excited because it is made up of cardboard and dollar store items, and a bunch of toilet paper. Thanks for such a wonderful art box and the inspiration to creat with different mediums.

As I wait for my Ultimate Creativity Collection Box set I am working on my setting for his apocalypse ghost mini. I am using things I have laying around, including cardboard boxes and mod podge. I am super excited. My family is tired of watching YouTube videos about miniature painting from artists like and but I don’t think I could get tired of watching and learning. building

Some photos from the Chicago Botanic Gardens. I will be able to make weekly trips tot he gardens because our girls are in the preschool they offer. We are lucky to have a scholarship for both our girls. While they are in school the boys and I walk around have snack and I try to get in some sketching and painting.
