On the bench, Jim & Monica's Custom Walnut & Steel Desk. Will have a 1" solid walnut desktop to match.

I still have a little welding to do on the legs. When I first started this project I was concerned about the side-to-side wobble factor laterally speaking. But to my surprise, it's pretty stable as is without the stretcher, which will still be added later this week. She can use the stretcher as a foot rest :D

This table is fabricated with a newer "engineered" hardwood. Thermally Treated Ash. This material has superior rot and pest resistance due to the heat treatment which basically renders the wood "unattractive" to wood boring pests. No harsh pesticides or herbicides used at all. One of it's primary uses is exterior siding, however it is also well suited for outdoor furnishings and is available in industry standard dimensions.

The size of this table is 120" x 48" x 30". The thickness of the tabletop is 1.75". Very stout and durable as an outdoor table should be.

Another happy customer. This went to Virginia. 70" x 70" solid walnut contemporary dining table. The tabletop is almost 2" thick. You won't find this at Eye-kia :)
