A recent transaction has been weighing heavily on my mind. A customer was eager to make a second purchase from me at The Barn, but unfortunately, I made an error and overcharged them by $20. In my effort to correct the mistake and refund the excess amount, I inadvertently refunded the entire transaction, which happened to be my largest sale of the day. While this outcome is far from ideal, I'd rather take responsibility for my actions than live with the knowledge that I overcharged a customer. This experience serves as a valuable lesson in attention to detail and the importance of double-checking my transactions. On a more positive note, I now have the opportunity to create more beautiful pieces for future events.
