Cosy in the Cotswolds 🌳

As we welcome in the shift in seasons I wanted to share this interior scheme, designed around a roaring fireplace in a family home in the heart of the Cotswolds.

With the property surrounded by woodland I wanted to embrace deep greens, rusty reds whilst introducing artwork that complements the setting of the home. Sam Wilson Luxury Fabrics & Homewares prints of course 🌿

What do we think… Could you imagine yourself snuggled up in this space after a long walk through the rolling fields? 🌳

The clients brief… I like to create a colour pallet at the start of the design process, this works particularly well if I’m designing multiple rooms, as I’m a big believer in creating a natural flow from space to space!

A timeless interior scheme bringing tranquility to the master bedroom 🌿

I am so thrillied with the final results of this gorgeous interior scheme, working closely with our clients to source fabrics that tie in with their newly decorated soft green bedroom with stunning garden views. James Hare of course is the go to when we wanted to add a timeless touch of class.

Handmade pencil pleat blackout curtains, with accompanying feather filled cushions.

Settle in for the night 🌙

I absolutely love this little transformation of this L shaped sofa that my client inherited… the grey, and leopard print cushions were not the cosy vibe she wanted… so we simply made new cushion covers for them, and what a transformation! It breaks up the huge block of grey giving the sofa an entirely new look for less and creates a perfect place to snuggle up in!

With the sun shining I felt it was rather apt to share this super stylish project ☀️

The client has exquisite taste and requested all natural fabrics, and so during sourcing I went straight to Warwick Fabrics UK for their slubby linens and voiles, paired with an Ian Mankin classic neutral stripe creating the most perfect stylish, but relaxed interior scheme ☀️

I hope you’re all staying cool in this heatwave we’re experiencing… ice creams all round I think!

Curated sample bundles 🌿

Did you know when you use Quilligan and Co interior design for your project we design, and then collate samples of all materials or paint colours used with in your scheme! This is so you can be extra sure when it comes to final decisions, and I have to say creating these little sample parcels is by far one of my favourite parts of the job!

Here’s some we hand delivered today, along with the coordinating interior materials board… I feel these are going to be beautiful spaces once completed 🌿

Well almost all, I’m afraid we can’t design and make dogs, I think it’s probably for the best as it’s safe to say Quilligan and Co HQ will be overran with furry friends 🐾
