For Christmas this year we adopted the attitude if "unhurried." After a whirlwind year in 2025, where we've been so busy living life that I've hardly posted anything - unhurried is the right answer.

Exciting things are starting to bubble up around here, but for this week you'll find me with a book or a jigsaw puzzle, enjoying the calm and quiet, and the peace that can only be experienced by recognizing the unlikely king who arrived quietly in the most unlikely place n

Happy Monday, everyone! Everyone has been busy busy around here for the last few months, dreaming up beautiful things for amazing people. We especially love when we're part of a project from the very beginning, and the owners of this log cabin are just starting think about some strategic updates. Maybe a new kitchen, maybe a breezeway to serve as both mudroom and laundry, rethinking the primary suite and the kids rooms - the possibilities are endless!

Absolutely LOVING this custom closet we designed for a client with 😍

The mirrored doors open like a 3-way mirror, and the matte white glass doors above are 🔥🔥🔥

Add in the leather bench seat, for the cherry on top, and this closet really is a dream. 💙

Controversial in its time, the song O Holy Night reminds us each what the arrival of this baby meant. In that moment, heaven kissed earth to teach us to love one another. His law is love and His gospel is peace.

On Saturday evening I had the privilege of hosting the Inaugural Gala and Awards for the Summit and Portage County Home Builders Association. It was a fantastic evening - there are few things better than being able to celebrate the achievements of your friends.

How do you choose a cabinet color that won't be "trendy" and out of style in a couple of years? The safe (and easy) answer is to choose white - but the reality is, you can choose a color that you love, outside of what's trending, and have a kitchen that reflects YOU. If traditional is your style, a warm white cabinet with a hint of glaze could be great. If you love bold and colorful, a custom teal cabinet could be just right. Don't choose something just because you saw it on social - choose something you're truly excited about for your own space.
