The Creative Flamingo Some new, some handmade, and some not so new…come check out my page! Welcome to my page! I love items that are not just cute to look at but can actually be used.

I started The Creative Flamingo five years ago making home decor and wearable art. They dress up your kitchen / home and make great gifts too. This past year my husband, Bill, has been adding to The Creative Flamingo. He was a professional chef for over 15 years and loves to collect all kinds of kitchen items. It's been a great fit...some new items, some handmade items, and some not so new items...all mostly kitchen themed. You can find everything in my store space in Lakeside, Ca. I'm one of the vendors in YB Normal Designs (12346 Woodside Ave., Lakeside, Ca). Come check out my space!

Here is the last of the desk sitters that are available. Slide to see them (and look at the last two days of posts to see all of them). The black cat reminds me of our Spooky.

I have a bunch of wooden desk sitters for sale. Some have the same design…but different sayings on them. They are approximately 3.5” x 3.5” and approximately 1.5” deep. I am selling them for $10.00 each or 2 for $18.00. The last picture shows what the back looks like. I have more designs that I will share with you over the next 2 days.

Let me know if you are interested in buying…if not local I can figure out shipping them for you (I will let you know how much extra shipping cost is). These will make adorable holiday gifts or birthday gifts 🎁!!

Sorry I haven’t been around for a little while. I’m no longer a vendor in the store. I have not been crafting much lately either.

I was diagnosed in January with cancer. I have been going through chemo and radiation. I am almost done with this part of the treatment. I will have a break and then surgery. I didn’t want to post about it because I was hoping to have enough energy to keep going but I just need to take a break and thought I should share…so you guys would know what is going on. I’m hoping after the surgery (and healing) I will find a new space to be in selling my crafts.

Until then look at my photos to see my crafts…if you see something you are interested in trying to make let me know and I can walk you through it.

Hello everyone! It’s been a little bit since I posted. I have a lot going on in my personal life but I wanted to check in with everyone.

I did want you to know I am no longer a vendor in the store. The owner retired and sold the store. I am going to wait a little while before I decide what my path is going to be.

So tell me what is going on in your life? I’d love to hear!

Ps. Oreo is wondering too!

Lots of fun items in my store space! Come check it out: 12346 Woodside Ave, Lakeside
