The Restored Brush has never just been about one thing. 🤍

Over the years you’ve seen me hand letter signs, refinish heirloom furniture, paint kitchens and bathrooms, restore antique pieces, repair what others thought was beyond saving, experiment with textures and finishes, and chase every creative avenue that still felt true to who I am at the core.

Creativity has always been the heartbeat behind this business.
The medium just changes sometimes.

As the world ebbs and flows, I want to ebb and flow with it too… while still staying rooted in craftsmanship, quality, and creating meaningful pieces for people and their homes.

So with that being said… I’ve been dipping my toes into punch needle and fiber art lately and absolutely falling in love with it. 🪡✨

I’m thinking about offering:

• Custom names & quotes
• Nursery décor
• Pillows
• Hoop art
• Handmade textured pieces with that same cozy, timeless feel I’ve always loved creating

This isn’t replacing furniture refinishing whatsoever. It’s simply becoming another tool in my creative toolbelt. Another way for The Restored Brush to create beauty, comfort, and meaningful handmade pieces for your homes and families.

This piece is one of those that I saw finished the moment I first laid eyes on it—long before the sanding, the repairs, or the countless quiet hours that followed.

Originally worn and tired, this tall dresser has been fully restored with intention and restraint. The drawer fronts were finished in a soft, linen-inspired texture that adds depth without overpowering the piece, paired with warm brass hardware and a gently aged mirror that feels right at home in a calm, collected bedroom.

Every drawer glides smoothly, the sides are fully painted (because details matter), and it comes with a working original skeleton key—a small but meaningful reminder of its history.

This is a piece meant to ground a space. Timeless, soft, and quietly confident.

My ♥️ was full and my smile was HUGE when my son brought me this beauty 😍😍😍 Buffets like this don’t come through here like they used to. I stained the top with a warm walnut stain and painted the body a crisp white with a light and natural. distressing and an antique wax to showcase the gorgeous details of this piece. The inside is painted a neutral sage green for a pop of color.

Can I be honest….???

This road has taken me down some twists and turns that I would have never would thought, in life and in business. Indescribably wonderful, exciting, meaningful and sometimes terrifying are a few words I could use to describe the last 13 years. While there have been some twists or turns I haven’t understood, I’ve always believed that faith of substance is blind and grown best when you cannot see a thing.

What I get to do here has never been contained or defined within a specific building or set of walls. Those walls have changed many times and they’ve changed once again.

I’m very proud to be a part of the family at The Shoppes at Copper Mill Mercantile in Greenville, NC. I am blessed to be able to call Copper Mill Mercantile home and can’t wait to see what’s to come in this next chapter. You can find us at 115 Red Banks Road in Greenville. We look forward to growing our TRB community in Greenville and can’t wait to meet all of your new faces!
