Epoxy putty from Starbond Premium Superglues came in clutch with this bourbon tray! 🥃

When working with live edge wood, it’s very common to run into knot holes and cracks and this piece was no different.

Was lucky enough to try this epoxy putty and it worked perfectly!

After kneading it for a little it’s ready to go. Simply push it in whatever you need, let it sit, and it’s ready to sand in 20-30 minutes.

I’ve been using this stuff like crazy now, it’s so easy.

I used the lighter colored version because I was hoping the contrast would look nice against the walnut…and I’m glad it did, came out great.

One of these is meant for your bourbon set up. You already know which one. 🥃🪵

Go ahead and look at them both. Take your time. We’ll wait. 😏

Two live edge walnut bourbon trays. Same wood species. Completely different shapes. Completely different grain patterns. Completely different personalities — because that is exactly what live edge walnut does. No two slabs ever tell the same story and no two trays ever look the same. 🪵✨

What makes these special:

-Live edge walnut — that deep rich dark grain that gets more beautiful every single year it sits wherever you put it.
-Natural live edge silhouette — shaped by the tree itself.
-Every void, every grain line, every curve completely unique to that slab and that slab alone.
-Built to hold your glasses, your bottle and your pour with the kind of quiet confidence that only real handmade wood delivers.

Here is the truth about a live edge bourbon tray — once it’s part of your lineup, you will never understand how you poured without it. The way it anchors the whole setup. The way people notice it before they even notice what’s in the glass. The way it makes a casual Tuesday night pour feel like an occasion worth savoring. 🥃

These two are available right now. And if history tells us anything — they won’t be for long. 🔥

The one calling your name is waiting. Don’t let someone else take it home first. 👀🥃

We’re getting so close to 10k followers, crazy!

So we wanted to do start something new from the wood shop.

If you’re interested, I’ll be sending out a newsletter once a month as a way help connect with our audience and customers.

Each month will cover one main subject in detail but will also contain things like:

-Getting to know us more
-What’s been inspiring us
-Current projects we’re working on (forgot to mention that in the video)
-Upcoming market info
-And I’ll be throwing in some discount codes every now and then ✨

I know we all get way too many emails, but I wanted to start doing this as a way connect this community and for me to pass along information and occasional thoughts in a way that I wouldn’t be able to do through a video.

Would love if you would subscribe, I’ll try and keep it interesting, relevant and something that is actually enjoyable to read!

Right now I’m thinking of sending them on the first Monday of each month so this first one will be sent on September 7th!

🥃✨I also understand a lot of my newer followers are coming from the bourbon community so I am in the process of doing something similar to this with my other page Neat & Muddy - Woodworker | Trail Runner | Bourbon Enthusiast

It’s a newer page where I’m attempting to combine trail running, bourbon and some woodworking and that newsletter (once it’s up and running) will focus more on those things. So make to follow that page and keep up to date!

Either way, really appreciate everyone’s continued support, let’s get to 10k!!

Cool air. Mountain views. Bourbon in hand. Someone take us back. 🏔️🥃🍂

There is something about northern Arizona that does something to your soul. The temperature drops. The air smells like pine and rain. The world slows down in a way that the valley simply doesn’t allow. And when you’re sitting up there with a handcrafted bourbon tray, a good pour, and mountains stretching out in every direction — you understand exactly why we keep going back. 🏔️🥃🪵

It’s hot as hell in the shop, but honestly isn’t a bad place to be right now because something exciting is on the horizon — market season for us kicks off in October and we cannot wait. 🔥

This is the time of year where everything we’ve been building in the shop finally gets to come out and meet people face to face. The bourbon boards. The charcuterie boards. The cutting boards. The seasonal pieces. Everything laid out where you can touch the grain, feel the weight, and take something handmade home the same day.

Just real wood, real craft, and real conversations with the people who appreciate handmade things. That’s our favorite part of market season and it never gets old.

If you’ve been eyeing something from our page but haven’t pulled the trigger yet — market season is your chance to see everything in person before it finds a new home. 🪵🥃

Content idea: zero. Projects on the bench: many. 🪵😂

Happy Monday. We had absolutely no idea what to post today so we did what any reasonable small business owner would do — grabbed the camera, pointed it at the bench, and figured the work would speak for itself.

Turns out the bench had plenty to say.

Right now we’ve got bourbon boards for the whiskey lovers. 🥃
Charcuterie boards for the cheese and snack crowd. 🧀
Cutting boards for the ones who actually cook. 🔪
And a couple of dog related items because those are always a crowd pleaser!

Market season is coming and this bench is proof that we are not playing around. Every single piece being shaped, sanded, and finished by hand — ready to find a home with someone who appreciates something real and handmade.

This is the part of small business ownership nobody really talks about — the Monday bench sessions where there’s no big announcement, no viral moment, just you and your craft quietly building toward something.

Whether you’re a bourbon person, a cheese person, a dog person, or all three — we’ve got something on this bench for you. 🥃🧀🐾
