And the whole time, people kept walking up to drop off blankets, pick up squares, and ask how they could join. I left every interruption in. They're not the noise — they're the proof.

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL CROCHET DAY 🧵🎉!

Today, September 12th, we celebrate the art of crochet and the amazing community that surrounds it 🌎. Did you know that this day originated in 2007 with Jimbo, a passionate blogger who wanted to give crochet the appreciation it deserves? 🙌 He sparked a movement among crocheters and crafty folks by hand-carving wooden crochet hooks and declaring September 12th as International Crochet Day.
