Yesterday, Spring Day, I held my first charity knit/crochet social to support Kids Care - who runs a Build-a-Bag Project (https://kidscare.co.za/).

I am donating the yarn and starting the knitted/crocheted projects so that the ladies can come and relax, pick up a project and continue working on it, enjoy a cup of coffee and biscuits and to socialise. These projects stay in the shop and will be picked up and worked on by the next lady - so alot of love being worked into each gift.

These socials will, from next week, be held every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 9am to 12 noon. I hope you will be able to join us to donate to this very special cause ❤️

There is a place in Pretoria East that takes care of children who have been removed from their families. The ages are from birth to 16 years of age.

I would like to bring a group of ladies together to knit or crochet either jerseys, beanies or blankets for these children.

What will happen:
I will donate the wool and needles and I will start the projects.

I would like to invite you over either Tuesday or Thursday from 09:00-12:00 or on a Saturday morning from 9am-12noon to join us at the shop to enjoy a chat, drink a cup of coffee and complete part of a project. At the end of the morning these projects will be left at the shop for the next week's social.

I hope you will join Jen's Wolhoekie in making these projects to donate to these children in need.
