I have just spent four hours or so at the Schiaparelli exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum - oh my hat and coat - the detail, the buttons, the buttons, the detail. It was insane. In fact, it was so good, I am going back tomorrow. Looking at these incredible garments makes me realise we dress in “one up” from pyjamas.

This is my slow stitch project for the holiday. As a volunteer for I am always looking to improve my skill set to become a better facilitator of the group I attend prison. Reading a chart and placing stitches onto plain fabric is a super power. It requires an eye for detail and a lot of patience to get it right. The journey is in the process and immensely enjoyable.
