This is my slow stitch project for the holiday. As a volunteer for I am always looking to improve my skill set to become a better facilitator of the group I attend prison. Reading a chart and placing stitches onto plain fabric is a super power. It requires an eye for detail and a lot of patience to get it right. The journey is in the process and immensely enjoyable.

This was a fun little piece I stitched. I struggled deciding on how to finish it but in the end decided on a very tiny cushion. It was gratefully received.

As a volunteer for I am always trying to improve my stitching skills. This is a sampler we encourage all our new stitchers to practise on. The simplest stitches are the most difficult to stitch evenly and perfectly. Very enjoyable to stitch in this rainy weather.

It is easy to forget how magical lovely Bath is. I was strolling though town the other day looking g for some invisible thread - instead I found this. Breath taking Pulteney Bridge and the moody weir.
