HOTH!
Hexagon Cardigan. They seem to be coming back into fashion and so I thought I'd make one.
I've made them before but this one is different.
It has an extended body, extra ribbing and a hood. Made in a size Small for my very tall 12 year old daughter.

I got some inspiration for sizing and all the extra bits and finishings from the following fellow crafters:

Craft and a Cuppa
PassioKnit goods
Loves Yarn (not sure why not tagging)
Crafts (not sure why not tagging)

This gorgeous yarn was purchased from Diane's home to yours - situated in Capri.

Video in comments as wouldn't post with the photos.

Taking orders. First come, first served. Made to measure. From infant to 5XL.

I haven't worked a half treble crochet in, gosh, forever!!

There was a request in FB for someone to help put together the sections of a cardigan.

The sections were all crocheted but the back panel, sadly, grew by two stitches about halfway down.

With the crocheters permission, I frogged the back panel and I am reworking it.

It's working up so beautifully and this cotton, oh my golly, it's so soft!
Quite heavy though so will probably be amazing to wear in winter.

Imagine a cozy bed adorned with a simple yet stunning crocheted blanket spread across it. The blanket is made from soft, chunky yarn that just invites you to snuggle up. Each stitch forms a soothing pattern—perhaps classic granny squares or gentle ripples—that adds both warmth and timeless style to the room. The colors might be earthy neutrals or calming pastels, creating a serene and inviting vibe.

Sunlight streams through the window, highlighting the intricate textures and casting subtle shadows on the bed. The blanket drapes gracefully over the edges, adding that perfect touch of homeliness. It's the kind of scene that makes you want to curl up with a good book or savor a peaceful morning.

There's something truly special about a crocheted blanket like this. It's not just a piece of fabric; it's a labor of love and creativity. Maybe it was handcrafted by a loved one, each stitch holding a memory, or perhaps it's a cherished find that brings character to your space.

Give us a shout to make your next cherished crocheted item.
All handmade with love, the occasional hair and lots of "I'm COUNTING" when others approach to ask a question.

So nice to be out doing garden work again.

I mean, the back yard is all paved and 3/4 of it is pool so can't do much there.
We have a tiny patch of green in the front and then more paving.

Tried a hanging type thing today. It's so mot pretty. It'll never make it into Home & Garden 🤣

Just need to keep plants away from Mr Cute Face aka Mr Destructo Face.
Especially after newly planting them or planting seeds!

We have had to rescue many a plant pot or potted plant from Mr Cute Destructo Face.

Now...to find a way to rescue the furniture 🤔

I lost my crojo for a while and I decided that I wanted to get it back. I have to say that it helps quite a lot with my anxiety.
Crocheting forces me to concentrate on something so my mind isn't allowed to wander off to the dark and scary places.

I've been making some blankets using yarn I purchased from the wonderful Diane from Diane's home to yours...
They're Kismet Lollipop Baby Cakes (cupcake) and are self striping.
They're so soft!

All of these blankets, I have another WIP going, have been claimed except the pink one.

The blue green star isn't yet complete. I need to pop in at Diane's to grab a couple more skeins.

Haven't posted here in a while. No funnies. No wips, not completed items.
Been in a slump and just been struggling to pull myself out of it.
Anyhoo, after a year or so of not really crocheting (attempted a few small things here and there but nothing completed or worth mentioning( I made an 8 point star blanket on self striping yarn of greys and whites. I need another skein to finish the edging so not 100% completed.
Also busy with a stunning virus blanket, using another self striping yarn of pinks and white.
I always follow Joanna Martinez's video to get me started again with the virus. After a few rounds, I'm sorted.

Some of my favourite items. I enjoyed making them all.Scroll through my photos for more!
