Struggling to achieve crisp lines when stencilling?

Stencil painting involves a dry brush technique, which entails removing most of the paint from the brush before applying it. This step should be repeated every time you dip the brush into the paint. It's a common error, as beginners usually load the brush with paint and directly apply it to the surface. However, with stencilling, you must first wipe off the excess paint on a paper plate, paper towel, or a plate. Remember, you can always add another layer, but you can't remove what's already been applied!
