Product testing underway.

I just love lighting a candle. There’s something about that little ritual that makes a home feel warmer.

These soy candles are made with natural essential oils and have the loveliest soft, nostalgic scents.

A little behind the scenes at Gathered.

Today was about sourcing the finishing touches for a project we’re bringing together this week - finding the right pieces, textures and details to complete the setting.

The best part is often in the gathering.

A life well gathered.

The first things we’ve gathered.

Everyday rituals, made a little more considered -
natural ingredients, thoughtful craft and scents for slow mornings, long baths and evenings at home.

South African-made and chosen with care.

Just the beginning.

A life well gathered.

Some things are worth making slowly.

Natural ingredients, thoughtful craft and the beauty of things made with intention.

This is the kind of thing we have gathered.

South African-made, considered and chosen for everyday living.

A life well gathered.

From the landscape that inspires us.

For a city girl craving a slower life, and a little closer to where her heart lives.

For days spent living in the moment.
For the stoep calling at the end of the day.
For friends around a crowded table, good food, old stories and nowhere else to be.

For the home, the table and everyday living.

Something is being gathered.

A life well gathered.

There’s something about farm life that makes you appreciate the simple things. The heritage buildings, the farm animals, the kitchen garden, a table set for lunch, sunlight falling across a room.

When life isn’t moving quite so fast, you have time to enjoy these things for what they are.

A few scenes from Soetmelksvlei.

A masterclass in collected charm. Dorp is a reminder that the best spaces aren’t designed overnight, but collected over time. Vintage pieces, soft light, and endless inspiration.

We popped in at Sullies to select upholstery fabrics for our latest restaurant projec, an Irish pub revival. Finding the right balance of durability, comfort, and character is all part of the process. Looking forward to seeing it all come together.

Pretty things I've been drawn to lately.

A small collection of colours, textures, objects and spaces that have caught my eye and found their way onto my inspiration board.

Images sourced via Pinterest. Original credits belong to their respective creators.

Kitchen feels. And enamel pendants that never go out of style.

Linen slipcovered sofas. Relaxed, lived-in, and made for slow afternoons.

Little café curtains. Such a charming way to soften a kitchen and tuck everyday appliances out of sight.

Vintage grocery scales. Equal parts useful and beautiful.

Weathered trunks and old am******on chests. Storage with a story to tell.

Suitcases as bedside tables. Functional, nostalgic, and full of character.

Green enamel pendants over a deep kitchen sink. A combination I'll never get tired of.

Creating a concept for a farmhouse in the Overberg.

A home with warmth at its centre.

Rich colour, natural textures and spaces that invite you to slow down. From the farmhouse kitchen to the layered lounge and moody bathroom, each room carries the same grounded, earthy palette.

I'd move in tomorrow.
