THE LOSLAPPIE QUILTS are LIVE🪡🦜

Some things are simply too special to waste.

For five years, we’ve been saving every little piece of the beautiful fabrics we print for The CooCoo Club. And now, those treasured off-cuts have found a life of its own.

Introducing our Loslappie Quilts : lovingly handcrafted in Cape Town from selected remnants of our homeware collections.

No two are ever the same.
Every colour, pattern and little piece of fabric comes together differently, making each quilt a one-of-a-kind textile artwork.

Reversible, beautifully soft, 100% natural and made to be loved like an heirloom — on a child’s bed, in a guest room, over the end of a sofa or wherever a little more CooCoo magic is needed.

We love that they tell a story: of creativity, conscious design and giving life to what otherwise would’ve been wasted.

And because every quilt is made from what we have saved, they are available in very limited numbers.

I don’t know about you but I plan on spending a substantial part of this weekend huddled up with a good book and great music…in this exact spot!

This is probably my favourite little nook in my home. I’ve dreamed of it since I was little and I envisioned every detail: a comfy velvety swivel chair - thanks West Elm - placed next to a library of my favourite books, fabrics from my travels (this embroidery in the foreground is from Laos) as well as fabrics from my imagination- like the SugaSuga Sage cushion featuring our sugarbirds 💘. Probably the best part is something you might not be able to see, hidden behind the bookcase is my beloved vinyl player. I’ve collected and inherited some seriously cool albums over the years and this combo of music, books and birds sets my soul on fire!

Anyone out there also into any of these luxuries, lemme know?
