We’re looking for a skilled seamstress to join our creative team. You will need to deliver on deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Details:
•⁠ ⁠Studio based in Observatory
•⁠ ⁠Required 5 days a week
•⁠ ⁠3-month probation period with the potential of full-time employment
•⁠ ⁠Salary based on experience

You should apply if you:
•⁠ ⁠Enjoy creativity,
•⁠ ⁠Have a keen eye for detail
•⁠ ⁠Find joy in working in a team
•⁠ ⁠Are equally comfortable working independently.
•⁠ ⁠Are capable of creating garments from start to finish (cutting, sewing, trims and finishing)

The perfect candidate will:
•⁠ ⁠Have at least 5 years experience as a seamstress
•⁠ ⁠Be comfortable with an industrial straight sewer and overlocker
•⁠ ⁠⁠Be comfortable working with linens and other fabrics
•⁠ ⁠Be proficient in various sewing techniques
•⁠ ⁠Have knowledge of basic patterns
•⁠ ⁠Have own transport to and from Observatory

Also desirable (but not required in order to apply):
• A fashion degree
•⁠ ⁠Can create trims
•⁠ ⁠Embroidery
